Driveline
The VX has wheels with 6x139mm bolt pattern, which is what most late model smaller GM trucks and SUVs have. However, in many cases, the GM wheels sharing the same bolt pattern have a center bore that is too small to clear the Isuzu front hub. Most Japanese wheels with the same bolt pattern will fit.(Toyota, Nissan, etc)
Drivetrain
US versions fitted with the TOD 'torque on demand' 4WD system with rear LSD - and the JDM versions have the same but with the additional 2WD option

JDM 1997-1999 - US 1999-2001
Powertrain
JDM 6VD1 3.2ltr 24 valve V6 with Red Hitachi Coil packs. The late model JDM VX is the updated 3.2L with 205 HP, the early 1997 JDM VX had the older 3.2L with 190 HP.
US 6VE1 3.5ltr 24 valve V6, also with Red Hitachi coil packs with 215 BHP
Trimlines
The JDM vehicross comes with a cloth trim mixed with carbon fibre door panels , cloth recaro seats and grey carpets the US versions come with red and black leather trim with carbon fiber door inserts. Also, the Proton yellow, Foxfire red, Dragon green & some Ebonies came with Blk/Gra leather interiors.
