2nd Gen Front Suspension (US market)

In the US, what are known as "2nd generation" Troopers were imported from 1992 through 2002.

In November of 1994 (1995 model year) a wider track suspension was introduced: 1992-1994 Track Width: Front 57.3", Rear 57.5" 1995-2002 Track Width: Front 59.6", Rear 59.8"

A 92-94 Trooper can be converted to a wider track by replacement of only 4 parts on each side: Tie Rods, CV Axles, Upper Control Arms, Lower Ball Joints.

This will afford a wider, more stable track, and longer suspension travel which is always appreciated in an independent front suspension.
